You’re invited to join us at 8:30 am on Saturday September 18 th for a ride from Greene Square Park to the grand opening of Prairie Park on Otis Road. Meet in Greene Square Park near 3 rd Avenue and the railroad tracks.

PRAIRIE PARK FISHERY GRAND OPENING SEPTEMBER 18

Prairie Park is located at 2125 Otis Rd SE”. The City of Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department park dedication is on Saturday Sept. 18, 2010. Festivities begin at 9:00 am with the opening ceremony followed by activities and demonstrations of fishing and paddle sports. A hard surface 1.8 mile trail loops around the lake and offers excellent views for walking, bicycling and bird watching.
